Matveevsky Park — architectural 3D visualization and CGI animation by Saccade studio. Project: PIK | Katarsis, Moscow, 2024. Clients: developer PIK, Katarsis. Project type: residential complex. A large residential development on the western edge of Moscow, with views taking in several buildings, the boulevards and the park at once. Working at the scale of the ensemble: every frame has to read as part of the whole, not as a single building. Matveevsky Park is a PIK residential complex on Ochakovskoye Highway in the Ochakovo-Matveevskoye district, three minutes from Aminyevskaya metro station. It stands on a former industrial zone and is part of the Matveevsky cluster: about 66 hectares, 27 of them given over to parks and boulevards, with two boulevards to be linked by a 350-metre pedestrian bridge. Towers of up to 33 floors and lower blocks form an ensemble in dark brick, burgundy, silver and sand; the facades were designed by Katarsis. Every building has to read as part of a whole rather than a standalone house — and that is what the six stills, made in 24 days, show: towers above an autumn boulevard with a cycle lane, brick facades with angled, seemingly projecting window reveals seen through yellow leaves, cafés on the ground floors along a rain-wet drive.
