Sports Center — architectural 3D visualization and CGI animation by Saccade studio. Project: TAD, Limassol, 2024. Client: TAD. Project type: public space. A sports club in Limassol occupying a repurposed industrial building. Indoor padel courts fill the ground floor alongside a gym and lounge, while the rooftop holds open-air pitches. The existing concrete structure is left exposed throughout, with terracotta tones running across surfaces and finishes to unify the interior. ETKO Urban Courts is a sports club inside the former ETKO winery building in Limassol's port district, designed by the Cypriot practice TAD architectural bureau: courts, reception and stands on the ground floor, a fitness area on the mezzanine and open-air courts on the roof. The existing concrete frame is left exposed, while terracotta ties all levels together — from the court surfaces to the furniture and the gates on the facade. We produced a series of ten stills and a video: a game on the roof in long evening shadows, the brick facade with its orange gates, the lobby under concrete beams, the locker room and the stair with a mural. One of the partners at BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) saw the work and especially liked the locker-room scene.
